The latest pictures in my Flickr stream are not mine. They’re all taken by my nine-year-old, Honour, after I told her that the two most important things to do are to get down at eye level (in other words, on her elbows) and to fill the frame with the action. Here are some of my favorites:
That dog is the WRONG WAY UP. (Look at Ginny, being all “Dude, that dog is the WRONG WAY UP.”)
No babies were harmed in the making of this film. However, several dogs were levitated. (By the way, see how the puppy behind Zuzu has his ears back and is licking? That’s an appeasement/calming signal because he sees me and Ginny, both booking it over there to get the dogs away from the baby–Clue had just finished pushing Bramble away from her too. Remember, no dogs near babies!)
A moment (trust me, it’s rare) of teamwork.
Clue momentarily loses her dignity and runs like a bunny.
Wait – what – are they looking at us? Well… I don’t know what to do either. Just hump casual.
